How Buy Desi collects, uses and protects your information.

1. Information we collect
We collect the details you provide when you create an account and shop — your name, email or mobile number, delivery addresses, and order history. We also record technical data such as device and usage information to keep the platform secure and reliable.
2. How we use your information
Your information is used to process and deliver orders, provide customer support, send order and delivery updates, prevent fraud, and improve the Buy Desi experience. We send price-drop alerts only for products you have saved to your wishlist.
3. Sharing with farmers and partners
To fulfil an order we share the necessary delivery details with the seller and with our logistics partner, Delhivery. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Payment security
Card and bank details are handled by our payment gateway and are never stored on Buy Desi servers. Prepaid funds are held in escrow and released only after delivery is confirmed.
5. Your choices
You can view and edit your profile, addresses and wishlist at any time from your account. You may request deletion of your account by contacting support; some records are retained where required for legal and accounting purposes.
