At Buy Desi, we value customer satisfaction and take pride in delivering authentic, handcrafted, and quality products. We offer a return or exchange option for eligible products within the specified return/exchange period mentioned on the product details page.
Customers are requested to carefully review product descriptions, sizes, and images before placing an order.
Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
- Products can be returned or exchanged within the specified period after delivery (as mentioned on the product page).
- Products must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition, with all original tags, seals (if any), and packaging intact.
- Items returned without original packaging or showing signs of use or damage will not be accepted.
Return Methods
1. Pickup from Your Address
- Where serviceable, Buy Desi will arrange a pickup from the same address where the product was delivered.
- Our pickup agent may conduct a basic quality check at the time of pickup.
- Refunds will be initiated after pickup or once the product passes the quality check at our warehouse (depending on serviceability).
2. Self-Ship Return
- If pickup is not available in your location, customers may self-ship the product to our return address.
- Shipping charges will be reimbursed as Buy Desi credits or to the original payment mode, subject to:
- The product meeting return conditions
- Sharing a clear image of the courier receipt
- Refunds will be processed only after the product passes quality inspection at our warehouse.
Exchange Policy
- Exchanges are allowed subject to stock availability and serviceability at your address.
- Exchange is applicable for:
- Size mismatch
- Damaged or defective products
- Replacement will be delivered to the same address, and the original product will be picked up simultaneously (where pickup is available).
If you wish to receive an exchange at a different address, please return the product for a refund and place a new order.
Refunds
- Refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment or as Buy Desi credits, as chosen during return initiation.
- Refund amount will exclude:
- Any non-refundable fees (if applicable)
- Discounts or promotional benefits already availed
GST Refund
- Applicable GST charged on returned or exchanged products will be refunded along with the product value, in accordance with Government GST regulations.
- For partial returns or exchanges, GST will be refunded or adjusted only on the returned item value.
- GST will not be refunded for:
- Non-returnable or non-exchangeable products
- Returns rejected due to quality check failure
- Products returned outside the eligible return period
Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items
Due to the nature of handcrafted and hygienic products, the following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Customized or made-to-order products
- Items marked as Non-Returnable on the product page
- Innerwear, personal-use items, food products (if applicable)
- Products damaged due to misuse or mishandling
Important Notes
- Buy Desi is not responsible for items returned by mistake.
- Items returned must be securely packed to prevent damage during transit.
- Buy Desi reserves the right to reject returns or exchanges if this policy is misused.
- In case a product was delivered with a free gift or promotional item, both the main product and the free item must be returned together.
